Corporate Uniform Programs: Fabric, Sizing, Stock and Year-Round Issue Management
Uniform is one premium product type that is more complex than the general jack. Because it needs to meet all the image, use, comfort, staff and future filling. If you plan only the first lot without thinking about stock and replenishment, it can create a burden for HR or later operations.
Starting with the work appearance of the wearer.
Office staff, side staff, field team and event team have different conditions of operation. Weather, weight, ventilation, flexibility and shirt style should start with Function before Style.
Choose clothes from real touch. Not the name of clothes alone.
The same type of fabric may have different weight, structure and finish. It should be seen Swatch and real samples including printing test or logos on the material to be used. Because the branding result may differ from the Mock-up image on the screen.
Size Set helps to reduce the error problem.
If the number of employees is large or there are multiple branches, it should have a Size Set and a standard seed storage method. Instead, give each person a decease from the common shirt brand. Because the Uniform pattern may be different from each model.
Logo Position should take into account the use.
Beautiful work or screen on the sample may be in a position that is lineed, bag or jacket, when real use. It should be seen both front, back and accessory position that staff needs.
QC needs to see more than a number.
Shade of the fabric should be checked, size, logo position, smoothness of the work of wraping, painting/screen and separation packages. Specifically, the project must be distributed to several fields. Because of the seating side error will create a lot of repair after delivery.
Stock to new employees and shift seats.
The organization should be burning the case of employees re-in, Uniform, or a change of the seals after real use by using the data Turnover and Usage to set the buffer stock instead of all seals in equal amount.
Replenishment needs to know the lead time of fabric and production.
If you choose custom clothes or colors, it should be recorded Specification, clear and known Lead Time for the filling cycle. To prevent the color or material of the new lock from differentiating from the original lock unintentionally.
Uniform Program Good should be welded 4 systems
Design & Material → Size Management → Production & QC → Stock & Replenishment This Flow design from the beginning has helped Uniform become a continuous management system. Not a single shirt production project.
