Project Handover Checklist: What to Inspect Before Accepting Renovation / Interior Work
The assignment should not only be a check of whether the work is “finished or done,” but should be checked whether the space is actually available. The complete documentation and the scarcity issues are clearly managed.
1. Compare with Scope and approved patterns.
Start by checking whether the work delivered is in line with Scope, Layout, Material and agreed details. If there are changes between the projects, it should be a clear record and reference document.
2. Make a systemic Punch List
The editing list should be stored as a point, indicate the location, description of the problem, responsible and set off the work to prevent the problem from falling after delivery.
3. Check the related building assembly system.
Renovation area may be related to electricity, air supply, fire system or other building systems. Detection should include the availability of the system within the work range. Not only look for decorative work.
4. Checks of success and real use.
Gate Service Point, Surface, Installation and Operating Area should be tested in the real user's corner. Specifically points with repeated use or related to daily operations.
5. Get documents and information for further care.
Documents related to the delivery and information required for maintenance should be stored for the Facility team or accessible area administrators.
6. Connect Handover with Facility Support
Good delivery should be clear after the project is completed. Who care for what and what work should enter the Preventive Maintenance or Facility Support system to keep space available continuously.
ICORP supports Design, Construction & Interior, Quality Control, Project Handover and Facility Maintenance. This can help connect the building range to the real range of use.
