How to Write a Project Brief for a Hotel & Wellness Project
The Hotel & Wellness project, starting with the word “I want to look relaxed and premium,” is not enough for the Project team because these words need to be converted into Target Segment, Service, Space and Experience that can be captured.
1. Who is Target Segment
Identify a customer group, behavior, duration of stay or use the service, expectations and Pain Point so that the Concept is not too wide.
2. What type of experience the project wants to create?
Set the Brand / Wellness Promise and the feelings that users want to get, such as Rest, Recovery, Privacy, Convenience or Lifestyle, and gradually convert into the Service Principle.
3. Put Customer Journey
Look from before arrival, welcome, use of space or service, stay, ask for help to the afternoon. To look for the important moments and possible points. Friction.
4. Convert Journey to Service Design
Each Touchpoint requires a responsible, step, duration and standard of service that complies with the Concept.
5. Convert Service to Space Requirement
Flow of customers and employees, privacy, waiting point, recreation space, storage and facility requirements should be considered before starting Interior Design.
6. Quality & Operations
Identify the quality control guidelines, after-activation area management and support systems required to ensure that the Designed Experience is stable behind the delivery project.
What does the ICORP structure help weld?
Hotel & Wellness Concept can be connected with Customer Experience, Service Design, Design & Construction, Facility Support and Premium / Welcome Product according to the project scope.
